Human PREX2 qPCR Primer Set – phosphatidylinositol-3,4,5-trisphosphate dependent Rac exchange factor 2
Also known as: DEP.2, DEPDC2, P-REX2, PPP1R129
About this gene: The PREX2 protein belongs to the phosphatidylinositol 3,4,5-trisphosphate-dependent Rac exchanger family, which are Dbl-type guanine-nucleotide exchange factors for Rac family small G proteins. Structural domains of this protein include the catalytic diffuse B-cell lymphoma homology and pleckstrin homology domain, two disheveled, EGL-10, and pleckstrin homology domains, two PDZ domains. The PREX2 protein facilitates the exchange of GDP for GTP on Rac1, allowing the GTP-bound Rac1 to activate downstream effectors.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 80243; HGNC ID: HGNC:22950; UniProt: Q70Z35; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_024870.4; Chromosome location: 8q13.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
