SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human PRDX5 (peroxiredoxin 5, also called PLP) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human PRDX5 qPCR Primer Set – peroxiredoxin 5
Also known as: ACR1, AOEB166, B166, HEL-S-55, PLP, PMP20, PRDX6, PRXV, SBBI10, prx-V
About this gene: PRDX5 belongs to the peroxiredoxin family of antioxidant enzymes, which reduce hydrogen peroxide and alkyl hydroperoxides. The PRDX5 protein interacts with peroxisome receptor 1 and plays an antioxidant protective role in different tissues under normal conditions and during inflammatory processes.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 25824; HGNC ID: HGNC:9355; UniProt: P30044; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_012094.5; Chromosome location: 11q13.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
