SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human PRDM16 (PR/SET domain 16) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human PRDM16 qPCR Primer Set – PR/SET domain 16
Also known as: CMD1LL, KMT8F, LVNC8, MEL1, PFM13
About this gene: The reciprocal translocation t occurs in a subset of myelodysplastic syndrome and acute myeloid leukemia. PRDM16 is located near the 1p36.3 breakpoint and is reported to be specifically expressed in the t-positive MDS/AML. The protein encoded by PRDM16 is a zinc finger transcription factor and contains an N-terminal PR domain.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 63976; HGNC ID: HGNC:14000; UniProt: Q9HAZ2; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_022114.4; Chromosome location: 1p36.32
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
