SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human ACADL (acyl-CoA dehydrogenase long chain, also called LCAD) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human ACADL qPCR Primer Set – acyl-CoA dehydrogenase long chain
Also known as: ACAD4, LCAD
About this gene: The ACADL protein belongs to the acyl-CoA dehydrogenase family, which is a family of mitochondrial flavoenzymes involved in fatty acid and branched chain amino-acid metabolism. The ACADL protein is one of the four enzymes that catalyze the initial step of mitochondrial beta-oxidation of straight-chain fatty acid. Defects in ACADL are the cause of long-chain acyl-CoA dehydrogenase deficiency, leading to nonketotic hypoglycemia.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 33; HGNC ID: HGNC:88; UniProt: P28330; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001608.4; Chromosome location: 2q34
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
