SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human PRDM1 (PR/SET domain 1, also called PRDI-BF1) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human PRDM1 qPCR Primer Set – PR/SET domain 1
Also known as: BLIMP-1, BLIMP1, PRDI-BF1
About this gene: PRDM1 encodes a protein that acts as a repressor of beta-interferon gene expression. The protein binds specifically to the PRDI of the beta-IFN gene promoter. Transcription of PRDM1 increases upon virus induction.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 639; HGNC ID: HGNC:9346; UniProt: O75626; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001198.4; Chromosome location: 6q21
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
