SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human PRAME (PRAME nuclear receptor transcriptional regulator) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human PRAME qPCR Primer Set – PRAME nuclear receptor transcriptional regulator
Also known as: CT130, MAPE, OIP-4, OIP4
About this gene: PRAME encodes a antigen that is preferentially expressed in human melanomas and that is recognized by cytolytic T lymphocytes. The PRAME gene product is not expressed in normal tissues, except testis. The PRAME protein acts as a repressor of retinoic acid receptor, and likely confers a growth advantage to cancer cells via this function.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 23532; HGNC ID: HGNC:9336; UniProt: P78395; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_206956.3; Chromosome location: 22q11.22
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
