SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human PPP5C (protein phosphatase 5 catalytic subunit, also called PP5) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human PPP5C qPCR Primer Set – protein phosphatase 5 catalytic subunit
Also known as: PP5, PPP5, PPT
About this gene: PPP5C encodes a serine/threonine phosphatase which belongs to the protein phosphatase catalytic subunit family. Proteins in this family participate in pathways regulated by reversible phosphorylation at serine and threonine residues; many of these pathways are involved in the regulation of cell growth and differentiation. The product of PPP5C is reported to participate in signaling pathways in response to hormones or cellular stress, and elevated levels of this protein may be linked to breast cancer development.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 5536; HGNC ID: HGNC:9322; UniProt: P53041; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_006247.4; Chromosome location: 19q13.32
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
