Human PPP2CA qPCR Primer Set – protein phosphatase 2 catalytic subunit alpha
Also known as: HJS3, NEDLBA, PP2Ac, PP2CA, PP2Calpha, RP-C
About this gene: PPP2CA encodes a phosphatase 2A catalytic subunit. Protein phosphatase 2A is one of the four major Ser/Thr phosphatases, and it is implicated in the negative control of cell growth and division. The PPP2CA gene product consists of a common heteromeric core enzyme, which is composed of a catalytic subunit and a constant regulatory subunit, that associates with a variety of regulatory subunits.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 5515; HGNC ID: HGNC:9299; UniProt: P67775; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_002715.4; Chromosome location: 5q31.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
