SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human PPP1R9B (protein phosphatase 1 regulatory subunit 9B, also called Neurabin-II) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human PPP1R9B qPCR Primer Set – protein phosphatase 1 regulatory subunit 9B
Also known as: PPP1R6, PPP1R9, SPINO, Spn
About this gene: PPP1R9B encodes a scaffold protein that acts as a regulatory subunit of protein phosphatase 1a. Expression of PPP1R9B is particularly high in dendritic spines, suggesting that the PPP1R9B protein may play a role in receiving signals from the central nervous system. The PPP1R9B protein has putative tumor suppressor function and decreased expression has been observed in tumors.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 84687; HGNC ID: HGNC:9298; UniProt: Q96SB3; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_032595.5; Chromosome location: 17q21.33
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
