SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human PPP1R3C (protein phosphatase 1 regulatory subunit 3C, also called PTG) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human PPP1R3C qPCR Primer Set – protein phosphatase 1 regulatory subunit 3C
Also known as: PPP1R5, PTG
About this gene: PPP1R3C encodes a carbohydrate binding protein that is a subunit of the protein phosphatase 1 complex. PP1 catalyzes reversible protein phosphorylation, which is important in a wide range of cellular activities. The PPP1R3C protein affects glycogen biosynthesis by activating glycogen synthase and limiting glycogen breakdown by reducing glycogen phosphorylase activity.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 5507; HGNC ID: HGNC:9293; UniProt: Q9UQK1; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_005398.7; Chromosome location: 10q23.32
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
