Human PPP1R16A qPCR Primer Set – protein phosphatase 1 regulatory subunit 16A

Also known as: MYPT3

About this gene: Myosin light chain kinase and phosphatase complexes control the phosphorylation states of regulatory myosin light chains, which is crucial for muscle and intracellular movement. MLCPs typically contain a catalytic protein phosphatase 1 subunit, a myosin phosphatase targeting subunit, and another smaller subunit. The PPP1R16A protein represents an MYPT subunit, which is responsible for directing PP1c to its intended targets.

Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 84988; HGNC ID: HGNC:14941; UniProt: Q96I34; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001329443.2; Chromosome location: 8q24.3

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
