Human PPP1R14A qPCR Primer Set – protein phosphatase 1 regulatory inhibitor subunit 14A
Also known as: CPI-17, CPI17, PPP1INL
About this gene: The PPP1R14A protein belongs to the protein phosphatase 1 inhibitor family. The PPP1R14A protein is an inhibitor of smooth muscle myosin phosphatase, and has higher inhibitory activity when phosphorylated. Inhibition of myosin phosphatase leads to increased myosin phosphorylation and enhanced smooth muscle contraction.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 94274; HGNC ID: HGNC:14871; UniProt: Q96A00; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_033256.3; Chromosome location: 19q13.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
