SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human PPP1CB (protein phosphatase 1 catalytic subunit beta, also called PP-1B) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human PPP1CB qPCR Primer Set – protein phosphatase 1 catalytic subunit beta
Also known as: HEL-S-80p, MP, NSLH2, PP-1B, PP1B, PP1Cbeta, PP1Cdelta, PP1beta, PP1c, PPP1CD, PPP1beta
About this gene: The PPP1CB protein is one of the three catalytic subunits of protein phosphatase 1. PP1 is a serine/threonine specific protein phosphatase known to be involved in the regulation of a variety of cellular processes, such as cell division, glycogen metabolism, muscle contractility, protein synthesis, and HIV-1 viral transcription. Mouse studies suggest that PP1 acts as a suppressor of learning and memory.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 5500; HGNC ID: HGNC:9282; UniProt: P62140; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_002709.3; Chromosome location: 2p23.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
