SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human PPL (periplakin) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human PPL qPCR Primer Set – periplakin
About this gene: The PPL protein is a component of desmosomes and of the epidermal cornified envelope in keratinocytes. The N-terminal domain of this protein interacts with the plasma membrane and its C-terminus interacts with intermediate filaments. Through its rod domain, this protein forms complexes with envoplakin.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 5493; HGNC ID: HGNC:9273; UniProt: O60437; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_002705.5; Chromosome location: 16p13.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
