SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human PPEF2 (protein phosphatase with EF-hand domain 2) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human PPEF2 qPCR Primer Set – protein phosphatase with EF-hand domain 2
Also known as: PPP7CB
About this gene: PPEF2 belongs to the serine/threonine protein phosphatase with EF-hand motif family. The protein contains a protein phosphatase catalytic domain, and at least two EF-hand calcium-binding motifs in its C terminus. Although its substrate is unknown, the PPEF2 protein, which is expressed specifically in photoreceptors and the pineal, has been suggested to play a role in the visual system.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 5470; HGNC ID: HGNC:9244; UniProt: O14830; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_006239.3; Chromosome location: 4q21.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
