SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human PPCS (phosphopantothenoylcysteine synthetase) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human PPCS qPCR Primer Set – phosphopantothenoylcysteine synthetase
Also known as: CMD2C
About this gene: Biosynthesis of coenzyme A from pantothenic acid is an essential universal pathway in prokaryotes and eukaryotes. PPCS, one of the last enzymes in this pathway, converts phosphopantothenate to phosphopantothenoylcysteine.[supplied by OMIM, Mar 2008].
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 79717; HGNC ID: HGNC:25686; UniProt: Q9HAB8; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_024664.4; Chromosome location: 1p34.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
