SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human PPARGC1A (PPARG coactivator 1 alpha, also called PGC-1-alpha) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human PPARGC1A qPCR Primer Set – PPARG coactivator 1 alpha
Also known as: LEM6, PGC-1(alpha), PGC-1alpha, PGC-1v, PGC1, PGC1A, PPARGC1
About this gene: The PPARGC1A protein is a transcriptional coactivator that regulates the genes involved in energy metabolism. The PPARGC1A protein interacts with PPARgamma, which permits the interaction of this protein with multiple transcription factors. The PPARGC1A protein can interact with, and regulate the activities of, cAMP response element binding protein and nuclear respiratory factors.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 10891; HGNC ID: HGNC:9237; UniProt: Q9UBK2; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_013261.5; Chromosome location: 4p15.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
