SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human PLPP3 (phospholipid phosphatase 3, also called VCIP) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human PLPP3 qPCR Primer Set – phospholipid phosphatase 3
Also known as: Dri42, LPP3, PAP2B, PPAP2B, VCIP
About this gene: The PLPP3 protein belongs to the phosphatidic acid phosphatase family. PAPs convert phosphatidic acid to diacylglycerol, and function in de novo synthesis of glycerolipids as well as in receptor-activated signal transduction mediated by phospholipase D. This protein is a membrane glycoprotein localized at the cell plasma membrane. The PLPP3 gene product is reported to actively hydrolyze extracellular lysophosphatidic acid and short-chain phosphatidic acid.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 8613; HGNC ID: HGNC:9229; UniProt: O14495; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_003713.5; Chromosome location: 1p32.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
