SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human PPA2 (inorganic pyrophosphatase 2) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human PPA2 qPCR Primer Set – inorganic pyrophosphatase 2
Also known as: HSPC124, SCFAI, SCFI, SID6-306
About this gene: The PPA2 protein is localized to the mitochondrion, is highly similar to members of the inorganic pyrophosphatase family, and contains the signature sequence essential for the catalytic activity of PPase. PPases catalyze the hydrolysis of pyrophosphate to inorganic phosphate, which is important for the phosphate metabolism of cells. Alternate transcriptional splice variants, encoding different isoforms, have been characterized.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 27068; HGNC ID: HGNC:28883; UniProt: Q9H2U2; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_176869.3; Chromosome location: 4q24
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
