Human ACAD9 qPCR Primer Set – acyl-CoA dehydrogenase family member 9
Also known as: MC1DN20, NPD002
About this gene: ACAD9 belongs to the acyl-CoA dehydrogenase family. Members of this family of proteins localize to the mitochondria and catalyze the rate-limiting step in the beta-oxidation of fatty acyl-CoA. The encoded protein is specifically active toward palmitoyl-CoA and long-chain unsaturated substrates. Mutations in ACAD9 cause acyl-CoA dehydrogenase family member type 9 deficiency.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 28976; HGNC ID: HGNC:21497; UniProt: Q9H845; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_014049.5; Chromosome location: 3q21.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
