SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human POLR2E (RNA polymerase II, I and III subunit E, also called XAP4) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human POLR2E qPCR Primer Set – RNA polymerase II, I and III subunit E
Also known as: RPABC1, RPB5, XAP4, hRPB25, hsRPB5
About this gene: POLR2E encodes a fifth largest subunit of RNA polymerase II, the polymerase responsible for synthesizing messenger RNA in eukaryotes. This subunit is shared by the other two DNA-directed RNA polymerases and is present in two-fold molar excess over the other polymerase subunits. An interaction between this subunit and a hepatitis virus transactivating protein has been demonstrated, suggesting that interaction between transcriptional activators and the polymerase can occur through this subunit.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 5434; HGNC ID: HGNC:9192; UniProt: P19388; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_002695.5; Chromosome location: 19p13.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
