SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human POLG2 (DNA polymerase gamma 2, accessory subunit, also called MtPolB) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human POLG2 qPCR Primer Set – DNA polymerase gamma 2, accessory subunit
Also known as: HP55, MTDPS16, MTDPS16A, MTDPS16B, MTPOLB, PEOA4, POLG-BETA, POLGB
About this gene: POLG2 encodes a processivity subunit of the mitochondrial DNA polymerase gamma. The POLG2 protein forms a heterotrimer containing one catalytic subunit and two processivity subunits. The POLG2 protein enhances DNA binding and promotes processive DNA synthesis.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 11232; HGNC ID: HGNC:9180; UniProt: Q9UHN1; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_007215.4; Chromosome location: 17q23.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
