SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human B2M (beta-2-microglobulin) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human B2M qPCR Primer Set – beta-2-microglobulin
Also known as: AMYLD6, IMD43, MHC1D4
About this gene: B2M encodes a serum protein found in association with the major histocompatibility complex class I heavy chain on the surface of nearly all nucleated cells. The protein has a predominantly beta-pleated sheet structure that can form amyloid fibrils in some pathological conditions. The encoded antimicrobial protein displays antibacterial activity in amniotic fluid.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 567; HGNC ID: HGNC:914; UniProt: P61769; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_004048.4; Chromosome location: 15q21.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
