SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human PNOC (prepronociceptin) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human PNOC qPCR Primer Set – prepronociceptin
Also known as: N/OFQ, NOP, OFQ, PPNOC, ppN/OFQ
About this gene: PNOC encodes a preproprotein that is proteolytically processed to generate multiple protein products. These products include nociceptin, nocistatin, and orphanin FQ2. Nociceptin, also known as orphanin FQ, is a 17-amino acid neuropeptide that binds to the nociceptin receptor to induce increased pain sensitivity, and may additionally regulate body temperature, learning and memory, and hunger.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 5368; HGNC ID: HGNC:9163; UniProt: Q13519; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_006228.5; Chromosome location: 8p21.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
