About this gene: The product of PNMT catalyzes the last step of the catecholamine biosynthesis pathway, which methylates norepinephrine to form epinephrine. The enzyme also has beta-carboline 2N-methyltransferase activity. PNMT is believed to play a key step in regulating epinephrine production.

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
