SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human PNLIP (pancreatic lipase, also called PL) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human PNLIP qPCR Primer Set – pancreatic lipase
Also known as: PL, PNLIPD, PTL
About this gene: PNLIP belongs to the lipase family of proteins. The encoded enzyme is secreted by the pancreas and hydrolyzes triglycerides in the small intestine, and is essential for the efficient digestion of dietary fats. Inhibition of the encoded enzyme may prevent high-fat diet-induced obesity in mice and result in weight loss in human patients with obesity.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 5406; HGNC ID: HGNC:9155; UniProt: P16233; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_000936.4; Chromosome location: 10q25.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
