SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human AZU1 (azurocidin 1, also called HBP) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human AZU1 qPCR Primer Set – azurocidin 1
Also known as: AZAMP, AZU, CAP37, HBP, HUMAZUR, NAZC, hHBP
About this gene: Azurophil granules, specialized lysosomes of the neutrophil, contain at least 10 proteins implicated in the killing of microorganisms. AZU1 encodes a preproprotein that is proteolytically processed to generate a mature azurophil granule antibiotic protein, with monocyte chemotactic and antimicrobial activity. The AZU1 gene product is also an important multifunctional inflammatory mediator.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 566; HGNC ID: HGNC:913; UniProt: P20160; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001700.5; Chromosome location: 19p13.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
