SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human PLTP (phospholipid transfer protein) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human PLTP qPCR Primer Set – phospholipid transfer protein
Also known as: BPIFE, HDLCQ9
About this gene: The PLTP protein is one of at least two lipid transfer proteins found in human plasma. The PLTP protein transfers phospholipids from triglyceride-rich lipoproteins to high density lipoprotein. In addition to regulating the size of HDL particles, this protein may be involved in cholesterol metabolism.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 5360; HGNC ID: HGNC:9093; UniProt: P55058; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_006227.4; Chromosome location: 20q13.12
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
