Human PLSCR1 qPCR Primer Set – phospholipid scramblase 1

Also known as: MMTRA1B

About this gene: PLSCR1 encodes a phospholipid scramblase family member. The PLSCR1 protein is involved in disruption of the asymmetrical distribution of phospholipids between the inner and outer leaflets of the plasma membrane, resulting in externalization of phosphatidylserine. This cell membrane disruption is important for the blood coagulation cascade as well as macrophage clearing of apoptotic cells.

Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 5359; HGNC ID: HGNC:9092; UniProt: O15162; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_021105.3; Chromosome location: 3q24

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
