About this gene: PLP2 encodes a integral membrane protein that localizes to the endoplasmic reticulum in colonic epithelial cells. The PLP2 protein can multimerize and may function as an ion channel. A polymorphism in the promoter of PLP2 may be linked to an increased risk of X-linked cognitive disability.

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
