Human PLCZ1 qPCR Primer Set – phospholipase C zeta 1
Also known as: Czeta, NYD-SP27, PLC-zeta-1, PLCzeta, SPGF17
About this gene: The PLCZ1 protein belongs to the phosphoinositide-specific phospholipase C family. Members in this family, classified into six isotypes that are tissue- and organ-specific, hydrolyze phosphatidylinositol 4,5-bisphosphate just before the phosphate group to yield diacylglycerol and inositol 1,4,5-trisphosphate. The PLCZ1 protein localizes to the acrosome in spermatozoa and elicits Ca oscillations and egg activation during fertilization that leads to early embryonic development.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 89869; HGNC ID: HGNC:19218; UniProt: Q86YW0; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_033123.4; Chromosome location: 12p12.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
