SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human PLCG1 (phospholipase C gamma 1, also called PLC-II) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human PLCG1 qPCR Primer Set – phospholipase C gamma 1
Also known as: IDAA, NCKAP3, PLC-II, PLC1, PLC148, PLCgamma1
About this gene: The PLCG1 protein catalyzes the formation of inositol 1,4,5-trisphosphate and diacylglycerol from phosphatidylinositol 4,5-bisphosphate. This reaction uses calcium as a cofactor and is important for the intracellular transduction of receptor-mediated tyrosine kinase activators. For example, when activated by SRC, the PLCG1 protein causes the Ras guanine nucleotide exchange factor RasGRP1 to translocate to the Golgi, where it activates Ras.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 5335; HGNC ID: HGNC:9065; UniProt: P19174; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_002660.3; Chromosome location: 20q12
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
