Product Description

SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human PLA2G7 (phospholipase A2 group VII, also called gVIIA-PLA2) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.

Human PLA2G7 qPCR Primer Set – phospholipase A2 group VII

Also known as: LDL-PLA2, LP-PLA2, PAFAD, PAFAH

About this gene: The PLA2G7 protein is a secreted enzyme that catalyzes the degradation of platelet-activating factor to biologically inactive products. Defects in PLA2G7 are a cause of platelet-activating factor acetylhydrolase deficiency.

Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 7941; HGNC ID: HGNC:9040; UniProt: Q13093; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_005084.4; Chromosome location: 6p12.3

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
