SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human PLA2G3 (phospholipase A2 group III, also called sPLA2-III) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human PLA2G3 qPCR Primer Set – phospholipase A2 group III
Also known as: GIII-SPLA2, SPLA2III, sPLA2-III
About this gene: PLA2G3 encodes a protein that belongs to the secreted phospholipase A2 family, whose members include the bee venom enzyme. The encoded enzyme functions in lipid metabolism and catalyzes the calcium-dependent hydrolysis of the sn-2 acyl bond of phospholipids to release arachidonic acid and lysophospholipids. This enzyme acts as a negative regulator of ciliogenesis, and may play a role in cancer development by stimulating tumor cell growth and angiogenesis.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 50487; HGNC ID: HGNC:17934; UniProt: Q9NZ20; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_015715.5; Chromosome location: 22q12.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
