Product Description

SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human AVPR2 (arginine vasopressin receptor 2, also called V2R) gene expression by real-time PCR.

Human AVPR2 qPCR Primer Set – arginine vasopressin receptor 2

Also known as: ADHR, DI1, DIR, DIR3, NDI, NDI1, V2R

About this gene: AVPR2 encodes a vasopressin receptor, type 2, also known as the V2 receptor, which belongs to the seven-transmembrane-domain G protein-coupled receptor superfamily, and couples to Gs thus stimulating adenylate cyclase. The subfamily that includes the V2 receptor, the V1a and V1b vasopressin receptors, the oxytocin receptor, and isotocin and mesotocin receptors in non-mammals, is well conserved, though multiple members signal via other G proteins. All bind similar cyclic nonapeptide hormones.

Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 554; HGNC ID: HGNC:897; UniProt: P30518; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_000054.7; Chromosome location: Xq28

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
