Human PLA2G12B qPCR Primer Set – phospholipase A2 group XIIB

Also known as: FKSG71, GXIIB, GXIIIsPLA2, PLA2G13, sPLA2-GXIIB

About this gene: The PLA2G12B protein belongs to the phospholipase A2 group of enzymes, which function in glycolipid hydrolysis with the release of free fatty acids and lysophospholipids. This family member has altered phospholipid-binding properties and is catalytically inactive. The protein is secreted, and together with microsomal triglyceride transfer protein, it functions to regulate HNF4alpha-induced hepatitis C virus infectivity.

Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 84647; HGNC ID: HGNC:18555; UniProt: Q9BX93; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_032562.5; Chromosome location: 10q22.1

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
