SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human PLA2G12A (phospholipase A2 group XIIA, also called sPLA2-XII) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human PLA2G12A qPCR Primer Set – phospholipase A2 group XIIA
Also known as: GXII, PLA2G12, ROSSY
About this gene: Secreted phospholipase A2 enzymes liberate arachidonic acid from phospholipids for production of eicosanoids and exert a variety of physiologic and pathologic effects. Group XII sPLA2s, such as PLA2G12A, have relatively low specific activity and are structurally and functionally distinct from other sPLA2s.[supplied by OMIM, Mar 2008].
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 81579; HGNC ID: HGNC:18554; UniProt: Q9BZM1; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_030821.5; Chromosome location: 4q25
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
