SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human PKLR (pyruvate kinase L/R) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human PKLR qPCR Primer Set – pyruvate kinase L/R
Also known as: CNSHA2, PK1, PKL, PKRL, RPK
About this gene: The PKLR protein is a pyruvate kinase that catalyzes the transphosphorylation of phohsphoenolpyruvate into pyruvate and ATP, which is the rate-limiting step of glycolysis. Defects in this enzyme, due to gene mutations or genetic variations, are the common cause of chronic hereditary nonspherocytic hemolytic anemia.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 5313; HGNC ID: HGNC:9020; UniProt: P30613; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_000298.6; Chromosome location: 1q22
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
