SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human PKHD1 (PKHD1 ciliary IPT domain containing fibrocystin/polyductin, also called Tigmin) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human PKHD1 qPCR Primer Set – PKHD1 ciliary IPT domain containing fibrocystin/polyductin
Also known as: ARPKD, FCYT, FPC, PCYT, PKD4, TIGM1
About this gene: The PKHD1 protein is predicted to have a single transmembrane-spanning domain and multiple copies of an immunoglobulin-like plexin-transcription-factor domain. Several of these transcripts are predicted to encode truncated products which lack the TM and may be secreted. Mutations in PKHD1 cause autosomal recessive polycystic kidney disease, also known as polycystic kidney and hepatic disease-1.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 5314; HGNC ID: HGNC:9016; UniProt: P08F94; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_138694.4; Chromosome location: 6p12.3-p12.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
