SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human PITX2 (paired like homeodomain 2, also called Solurshin) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human PITX2 qPCR Primer Set – paired like homeodomain 2
Also known as: ARP1, ASGD4, Brx1, IDG2, IGDS, IGDS2, IHG2, IRID2, Otlx2, PTX2, RGS, RIEG
About this gene: PITX2 belongs to the RIEG/PITX homeobox family, which is in the bicoid class of homeodomain proteins. The PITX2 protein acts as a transcription factor and regulates procollagen lysyl hydroxylase gene expression. The PITX2 protein is involved in the terminal differentiation of somatotroph and lactotroph cell phenotypes, is involved in the development of the eye, tooth and abdominal organs.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 5308; HGNC ID: HGNC:9005; UniProt: Q99697; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_000325.6; Chromosome location: 4q25
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
