SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human PITPNA (phosphatidylinositol transfer protein alpha, also called PI-TP-alpha) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human PITPNA qPCR Primer Set – phosphatidylinositol transfer protein alpha
Also known as: HEL-S-36, PI-TPalpha, PITPN, VIB1A
About this gene: PITPNA belongs to a family of lipid-binding proteins that transfer molecules of phosphatidylinositol or phosphatidylcholine between membrane surfaces. The protein is implicated in phospholipase C signaling and in the production of phosphatidylinositol 3,4,5-trisphosphate by phosphoinositide-3-kinase.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 5306; HGNC ID: HGNC:9001; UniProt: Q00169; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_006224.4; Chromosome location: 17p13.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
