SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human PIR (pirin) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human PIR qPCR Primer Set – pirin
About this gene: PIR belongs to the cupin superfamily. The PIR protein is an Fe-containing nuclear protein expressed in all tissues of the body and concentrated within dot-like subnuclear structures. Interactions with nuclear factor I/CCAAT box transcription factor as well as B cell lymphoma 3-encoded oncoprotein suggest the PIR protein may act as a transcriptional cofactor and be involved in the regulation of DNA transcription and replication.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 8544; HGNC ID: HGNC:30048; UniProt: O00625; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001018109.3; Chromosome location: Xp22.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
