SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human PINK1 (PTEN induced kinase 1, also called BRPK) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human PINK1 qPCR Primer Set – PTEN induced kinase 1
Also known as: BRPK, PARK6
About this gene: PINK1 encodes a serine/threonine protein kinase that localizes to mitochondria. The PINK1 gene product is believed to protect cells from stress-induced mitochondrial dysfunction. Mutations in PINK1 cause one form of autosomal recessive early-onset Parkinson disease.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 65018; HGNC ID: HGNC:14581; UniProt: Q9BXM7; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_032409.3; Chromosome location: 1p36.12
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
