Human PILRB qPCR Primer Set – paired immunoglobin like type 2 receptor beta
Also known as: FDFACT1, FDFACT2
About this gene: The paired immunoglobin-like type 2 receptors consist of highly related activating and inhibitory receptors that are involved in the regulation of many aspects of the immune system. PILRB encodes a activating member of the receptor pair and contains a truncated cytoplasmic tail relative to its inhibitory counterpart, that has a long cytoplasmic tail with immunoreceptor tyrosine-based inhibitory motifs. PILRB is believed to have arisen from a duplication of the inhibitory PILRA gene and evolved to acquire its activating function.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 29990; HGNC ID: HGNC:18297; UniProt: Q9UKJ0; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_178238.4; Chromosome location: 7q22.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
