SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human PIK3C2A (phosphatidylinositol-4-phosphate 3-kinase catalytic subunit type 2 alpha, also called PI3K-C2-alpha) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human PIK3C2A qPCR Primer Set – phosphatidylinositol-4-phosphate 3-kinase catalytic subunit type 2 alpha
Also known as: CPK, OCSKD, PI3-K-C2(ALPHA), PI3-K-C2A, PI3K-C2-alpha, PI3K-C2alpha
About this gene: The PIK3C2A protein belongs to the phosphoinositide 3-kinase family. PI3-kinases play roles in signaling pathways involved in cell proliferation, oncogenic transformation, cell survival, cell migration, and intracellular protein trafficking. The PIK3C2A protein contains a lipid kinase catalytic domain as well as a C-terminal C2 domain, a characteristic of class II PI3-kinases.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 5286; HGNC ID: HGNC:8971; UniProt: O00443; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_002645.4; Chromosome location: 11p15.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
