SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human PIGN (phosphatidylinositol glycan anchor biosynthesis class N, also called PIG-N) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human PIGN qPCR Primer Set – phosphatidylinositol glycan anchor biosynthesis class N
Also known as: GPI-ETI, MCAHS, MCAHS1, MCD4, MDC4, PIG-N
About this gene: PIGN encodes a protein that is involved in glycosylphosphatidylinositol-anchor biosynthesis. The GPI-anchor is a glycolipid found on many blood cells and serves to anchor proteins to the cell surface.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 23556; HGNC ID: HGNC:8967; UniProt: O95427; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_176787.5; Chromosome location: 18q21.33
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
