SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human PIGH (phosphatidylinositol glycan anchor biosynthesis class H, also called PIG-H) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human PIGH qPCR Primer Set – phosphatidylinositol glycan anchor biosynthesis class H
Also known as: GPI-H
About this gene: PIGH encodes a endoplasmic reticulum associated protein that is involved in glycosylphosphatidylinositol-anchor biosynthesis. The GPI anchor is a glycolipid found on many blood cells and which serves to anchor proteins to the cell surface. The PIGH protein is a subunit of the GPI N-acetylglucosaminyl transferase that transfers GlcNAc to phosphatidylinositol on the cytoplasmic side of the endoplasmic reticulum.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 5283; HGNC ID: HGNC:8964; UniProt: Q14442; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_004569.5; Chromosome location: 14q24.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
