SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human PHIP (PHIP subunit of CUL4-Ring ligase complex) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human PHIP qPCR Primer Set – PHIP subunit of CUL4-Ring ligase complex
Also known as: BRWD2, CHUJANS, DCAF14, DIDOD, RepID, WDR11, ndrp
About this gene: PHIP encodes a protein that binds to the insulin receptor substrate 1 protein and regulates glucose transporter translocation in skeletal muscle cells. The PHIP protein may also regulate growth and survival of pancreatic beta cells. Elevated copy number of PHIP may be linked to melanoma severity and the PHIP protein may promote melanoma metastasis in human patients.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 55023; HGNC ID: HGNC:15673; UniProt: Q8WWQ0; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_017934.7; Chromosome location: 6q14.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
