Human PHGDH qPCR Primer Set – phosphoglycerate dehydrogenase
Also known as: 3-PGDH, 3PGDH, HEL-S-113, NLS, NLS1, PDG, PGAD, PGD, PGDH, PHGDHD, SERA
About this gene: PHGDH encodes a enzyme which is involved in the early steps of L-serine synthesis in animal cells. L-serine is required for D-serine and other amino acid synthesis. The enzyme requires NAD/NADH as a cofactor and forms homotetramers for activity.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 26227; HGNC ID: HGNC:8923; UniProt: O43175; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_006623.4; Chromosome location: 1p12
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
