SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human ATRX (ATRX chromatin remodeler, also called XNP) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human ATRX qPCR Primer Set – ATRX chromatin remodeler
Also known as: JMS, MRX52, RAD54, RAD54L, XH2, XNP, ZNF-HX
About this gene: The ATRX protein contains an ATPase/helicase domain, and thus it belongs to the SWI/SNF family of chromatin remodeling proteins. The ATRX protein is found to undergo cell cycle-dependent phosphorylation, which regulates its nuclear matrix and chromatin association, and suggests its involvement in the gene regulation at interphase and chromosomal segregation in mitosis. Mutations in ATRX are linked to X-linked syndromes exhibiting cognitive disabilities as well as alpha-thalassemia syndrome.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 546; HGNC ID: HGNC:886; UniProt: P46100; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_000489.6; Chromosome location: Xq21.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
